Goldfish Salad. Quick, festive and very tasty

Salad with hot smoked fish is not only delicious, but also an original dish that can become both the main treat on the table and a sophisticated appetizer. In its composition there are usually various fresh vegetables, greens and, of course, hot smoked fish. It gives the salad a rich and expressive flavor.

Hot smoking is a process in which fish is exposed to hot smoke, which gives it unique flavors and texture. Such cooking preserves all the useful substances and saturates the product with a characteristic smoked flavor.

Let’s tell about one of the ways to prepare a salad with such fish

Ingredients:

  • hot smoked fish – 1 pc;
  • potatoes – 3 pcs;
  • carrots – 2 pcs;
  • red onion – 1 pc;
  • pickled cucumbers – 3 pieces;
  • egg – 3 pcs;
  • mayonnaise;
  • dill – a bunch.

Preparation of the salad:

Boil to readiness potatoes, carrots and eggs. Grate the peeled potatoes on a coarse grater and put them as the first layer, smear with mayonnaise.

Cut onions into feathers and put them on the potato layer. We smear the onion layer with mayonnaise, put hot-smoked fish on it, got rid of bones and skin beforehand.

We cut cucumbers into thin bars, smear the fish layer with mayonnaise and put them on top. Cover the cucumber layer with mayonnaise, rub boiled eggs on it. The

egg layer is also covered with mayonnaise. Grate boiled carrots and put them on the egg layer. Chop dill and sprinkle it on the top of the salad.
