However, it is worth arguing, not everyone knows that you can use buckwheat for cooking meat pies. Cereal will give you the opportunity to increase the amount of baking, since there will be more filling.
We are ready to tell you the recipe for cooking pies with filling from buckwheat, from minced meat, as well as with filling from potatoes and mushrooms.
Ingredients for the dough:
- flour – 650 g;
- butter – 100 g;
- water – 200 ml;
- salt – tsp;
- milk – 250 ml;
- sugar – tbsp;
- yeast – 20 g;
- boiled buckwheat groats – 5 tbsp. tbsp.
Ingredients for meat stuffing:
- salt – ½ tsp;
- ground beef – 400 g;
- butter – 40 g;
- onion – 2 pcs;
- vegetable oil – 30 ml.
Ingredients for potato stuffing:
- potatoes – 3 pcs;
- dill – a bunch;
- onion – 2 pieces;
- salt – ½ tsp;
- vegetable oil – 30 ml.
Preparation of patties:
Pour warm milk and water into a bowl, combine with sugar, salt and yeast. Sift flour into the liquid. Melt butter, pour it into the flour mixture. Knead by hand a soft and pliable dough
. Leave the dough under a lid in the heat for an hour. In the meantime, prepare the meat filling. Cut a small diced onion, fry in a frying pan with vegetable and butter oil.
Put minced meat in the soft fried onions, cook the stuffing for 10 minutes on a low-medium heat under a lid
. For the potato stuffing, finely chop onions, fry in vegetable oil. Boil potatoes until soft, mashed potato them. Add fried onions and chopped dill to the potato mixture and mix.
Form 18 small lumps
of
dough and roll them into small thick cakes

In ⅓ of the total number of tortillas put boiled buckwheat, seal the filling in the dough.
In the same way, seal the potato and meat filling in the dough. Leave the patties to proof for 20 minutes. Then fry the patties in a frying pan in plenty of oil until golden on both sides on medium heat.
Patties with buckwheat groats may seem to you a strange solution for filling. However, such pies will perfectly dilute the other fillings of baked goods – with meat, with potatoes.
