Let’s tell you how to prepare a delicious honey cake

Ingredients for the sponge cake:

  • butter – 150 g;
  • honey – 160 g;
  • baking soda – 1.5 tsp;
  • eggs – 4 pcs;
  • salt – a pinch;
  • flour – 250 g;
  • sugar – 140 g.

Ingredients for the cream:

  • sour cream – 700 g;
  • condensed milk – 150 g;
  • powdered sugar – 75 g.

Preparation of honey cake:

In a saucepan, melt butter with honey, mix with soda, and then leave to cool. At this time, mix the eggs with salt, beat until whitened.

Next, add sugar to the mixture, continue to beat with a mixer until puffy. Pour the egg mixture to the honey and butter, stir, sift the flour in batches.

Pour the rest of the flour into the dough, knead it elastic and thick. Pour the dough onto a

baking

tray lined with parchment and spread it over the entire surface.

Bake the biscuit at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes. For the cream, beat with a mixer sour cream with powdered sugar, and then add condensed milk. Continue to whisk the mass until the cream.

Remove all the uneven parts from the biscuit, divide it into 4 equal rectangles. Divide each rectangular biscuit into a couple of thin crusts.

Grease each crust with cream and form the cake, laying each crust with cream on the previous one. Shred the biscuit scraps into crumbs,

smear the sides and top of the cake with cream and sprinkle with biscuit crumbs. Then put the cake in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
