Stuffed pepper is a dish that is known and loved in many countries of the world. It is a sweet pepper or other sweet pepper stuffed with various ingredients: meat, rice, vegetables, mushrooms and other products.
Stuffed peppers have a rich history and are part of the culinary traditions of different nations. They can differ in recipe depending on the region and the preferences of the cook. However, one thing remains common – the unique taste and aroma of this dish.
Ingredients:
- Pork minced meat – 1.5 kg;
- Rice – 80 g;
- Onions – 3 pcs;
- Salt – tsp;
- Sweet pepper – 1.2 kg;
- Carrots – 1 pc;
- Tomatoes – 2 pcs;
- Potatoes – 1 kg;
- Laurel leaf – 4 pcs.
Preparation of stuffed peppers:
Cut small diced onion, fry it in a frying pan until soft.
Mix the fried onions
and rice
with minced meat, stir. Chop the remaining onions, grate carrots on a coarse grater, peel the insides
of the peppers
through the top.
Put the minced meat and rice in the peppers

In a saucepan with vegetable oil, fry the rest of the onion and carrots, add the tomato cut in advance.
Put the stuffed peppers in the pot with the frying

On the peppers put peeled and coarsely chopped potatoes
. Pour water
over the
vegetables and stuffed peppers, add salt and bay leaf. Under a lid cook the stuffed peppers and potatoes until tender.
It turns out excellent stuffed peppers with a garnish in the form of potatoes. The dish is prepared quite quickly, while being able to feed a large family.
