How to cook stuffed peppers in a pot. Simple recipe

Stuffed peppers is a dish that is known in many cuisines around the world. It is a bell pepper stuffed with a mixture of rice, meat and vegetables, seasoned with spices.

This is a hearty and tasty dish, the preparation of which may take some time, but the result is worth it.

Stuffed peppers can be prepared using different types of meat: beef, pork, chicken or turkey. The

vegetable component also varies depending on the recipe and

preferences of the cook. As an addition to minced meat, rice is often added, which gives the dish a special texture and makes it more nutritious.

Ingredients:

  • Bulgarian pepper – 7 pcs;
  • Stuffed meat – 700 g;
  • Rice – 70 g;
  • Onion – 3 pcs;
  • Carrots – 2 pcs;
  • Garlic – 4 cloves;
  • Tomato paste – 70 g;
  • Sour cream – 100 g;
  • Water – 500 ml;
  • Salt – tsp.

Preparation of stuffed peppers:

Boil the rice until half-cooked. Dice onion, grate carrots, fry vegetables until soft, salt.

Mix in minced rice, fried onions and carrots, press garlic cloves

Salt and pepper the minced meat, mix all the products thoroughly.

Remove the stalk and cap from the peppers, remove the insides. Stuff each pepper with minced meat, place vertically in a pot.
