Ingredients for fried liver:
- veal liver – kg;
- onion – 3 pcs;
- soda – 2 tbsp;
- vegetable oil – 2 tablespoons;
- butter – 20 g;
- salt – ½ tsp.
Preparation of fried liver:
Get rid of the liver from veins and film, cut into not particularly large pieces.
Sprinkle the liver with baking soda, mix and leave for half an hour.
Next, thoroughly rinse the liver from excess soda.
In a frying pan, heat a spoonful of vegetable oil, cut onions in half rings.
Fry the onions until golden, transfer them to a plate. Again pour vegetable oil into the skillet, add butter. When the butter is melted, put the liver in the skillet.
Fry the liver for 3-4 minutes on each side on medium heat, do not forget to salt. To the liver add onions fried beforehand, mix the ingredients.
Cover the liver with a lid, turn off the heat and let stand like this for a couple minutes.
You can serve the liver with mashed potatoes and with vegetable salad. If desired, sprinkle the liver in the process of frying with ground black pepper.
