The history of ice cream begins in ancient China about 5000 years ago. This dessert, thanks to its rich gastronomic heritage, can be called one of the oldest.
After a long time, people began to experiment with the classic ice cream. Thus, in the XVIII century there was a plombier
. This cold dessert was created in France, more precisely in the city of Plombierre-les-Bains, from where it got its name.
A local confectioner added fruits and berries to the ice cream, which soaked the frozen cream. This recipe was liked by the elite, which gave rise to experiments with the flavors of

Ingredients for plombier:
- 33% cream – 600 ml;
- wafers – 2 pcs;
- condensed milk – 400 ml.
Preparation of the filling:
Cold cream should be poured into a separate container and whipped at maximum mixer speed for about 4 minutes. You should get a dense mass with stable peaks.
In the resulting creamy mass should be gradually poured into the condensed milk, continuing to mix the components with a mixer. In a baking mold with a diameter of about 22-24 cm, place one of the round wafer cakes on the bottom.
Put the cream mixture on the crust, cover it with the second wafer and press it down slightly. Put the ice cream in the freezer for at least 6 hours.
You can add chocolate chips, berries, fruits and other toppings to the creamy mass to taste. You get homemade creamy ice cream with bright flavor, without chemical additives.
