There are many different rumors about beets, it is one of the most discussed vegetables among nutritionists and doctors. This is probably due to the fact that the root vegetable is incredibly useful for the human body.
However, this was not always the case. In ancient times, for example, the Persians were dismissive of beets. It was believed that this root vegetable symbolizes constant quarrels and strife. This is a kind of religious apple, only from the world of other people.
Later, people moved away from the disdain for beets. The vegetable was often used to make medicinal potions.

Ingredients for beet salad:
- cabbage – 150 g;
- 9% vinegar – tsp;
- Korean carrots – 100 g;
- boiling water;
- canned peas – 3 tbsp;
- onion – ½ pcs;
- beets – pcs;
- salt – a pinch;
- dill – a bunch.
Preparation of beet salad:
Bake beets for a short period of time in the oven, bring to softness. Peel the root vegetable from the top layer, cut into thin straws.
Separately chink cabbage in small pieces, knead by hand until the juice appears. Together with Korean carrots send cabbage to the beet mass.
Remove canned peas from the liquid, pour to the vegetables. Onions cut into small squares, in a separate bowl combine with vinegar, completely pour boiling water. Marinate the onions for 10 minutes.
Chop dill, add to the vegetables along with salt. We remove the cooled boiling water from the onion, put it in the common container of the salad.
To taste, we dress the salad with vegetable oil, mix well.
After we let the salad insist literally 5 minutes, it can be served to the table.
This dish should be called vitamin, since it contains only vegetable useful fiber.
