I always make it like this for New Year’s Eve. Incredibly tasty and beautiful salad “Snow”

There are several reasons why, year after year, there is a large variety of salads and appetizers on our holiday tables. First, such treats play the role of a cold appetizer, secondly, while the main course is being prepared, you can snack on an aperitif. Thirdly, it looks beautiful and appetizing, because the table with salads looks much richer. The

salad we want to tell you about today can be called beautiful and elegant, it looks great on any festive table. It is worth trying this recipe if you are already thinking about what to treat your guests with.

Ingredients for the salad:

  • potatoes – 3-4 pcs;
  • chicken breast – pcs;
  • eggs – 6 pcs;
  • cheese – 170-200 g;
  • pickles – 2 pcs;
  • French mustard – 2 tablespoons;
  • mayonnaise – 200 g;
  • black sesame.

Ingredients for pickled onions:

  • onion – pcs;
  • boiling water – 150 ml;
  • table vinegar – 3-4 tbsp. liters;
  • sugar – 2 tbsp;
  • salt – 0.5 tsp.

Preparation of the salad:

First, let’s marinate the onion. One onion finely chop. Transfer to a bowl, add sugar, salt and 3-4 tablespoons of 9% vinegar. Then pour hot water and marinate for 30 minutes.

For the salad, boil the chicken breast in a pot and chop it finely. Transfer the ingredient into a bowl. Fill with 1-2 tablespoons of mayonnaise

. Boiled potatoes rub on a coarse grater. Lay out an even layer on the bottom of the festive dishes. It is better to take a saucer, not a deep container. On top make a thin layer of mayonnaise. Next layer distribute two tablespoons of French mustard.

Next make a layer of pickled onions and press down slightly to soak the salad. On top squeeze out a thin layer of mayonnaise, you can use a pastry bag for this purpose.

Small pickles are cut into medium cubes and put on top of the salad. Again make a thin layer of mayonnaise.

Boiled eggs are divided into yolk and white. Grate the yolk on a fine grater on top of the salad. Press out mayonnaise in a thin layer. Grate cheese on a fine grater and abundantly sprinkle the ingredient all over the salad.

Mayonnaise make a pattern. And sprinkle with grated egg white. At the end we decorate with sesame seeds.
