You’ve probably noticed that the simplest dishes are becoming popular in all cuisines around the world. For example, Lenten buns, soup, beet salads and cutlets. It is impossible to imagine that these dishes have gone from our kitchen life.
In most, the relevance of the dishes is preserved due to the simplicity of preparation. That is, to make lean buns or cutlets can any person without special knowledge.

Ingredients for Lenten buns:
- water – 300 ml;
- flour – 660 g;
- live yeast – 40 g;
- salt – ⅓ tsp;
- sugar – 270 g;
- mayonnaise – 3 tbsp;
- vegetable oil – 3 tbsp.
Preparation of lean buns:
To prepare the opara, we need to combine 20 grams of granulated sugar with a pinch of salt and 60 grams of flour in warm water. Pour yeast into the mixture and wait for 15 minutes for the components to react. Pour
the remaining sugar and salt into the opara and stir. Pour vegetable oil into the mixture, add mayonnaise, try to stir well.

Grease a deep container with vegetable oil, transfer the dough into it and cover with a cellophane bag. Leave the dough for an hour to rise. Then knead the dough and put it back in the heat, but for half an hour.
We divide the dough into 15 identical buns, which should be left under a towel for 15 minutes to rise. Next, make the buns into patties in the classic way, adding your favorite filling inside.
Bake the buns in the oven at 180 degrees for 35 minutes.
As a filling for buns or patties from this dough you can take vegetables and fruits. We recommend using lean mayonnaise for the recipe, so the baked goods will definitely be free of animal products.
