Clean pollock from fins, gills, head and tail. Remove the insides of the fish, cut into small pieces. Salt the pollock to taste, pepper and leave at room temperature for 10 minutes.

Drain excess liquid from the fish. Pour tomato juice over the tomato paste. Cut onions into small cubes, grate carrots finely
