Now the popularity of chebureks and other pies from the station has waned. The fact is that new varieties of street food have appeared. For example, pizza and shawarma are more in demand.
However, sometimes you want to try just fat tasty chebureks and belyash instead of
boring
hamburgers and sushi.
At the same time, it is not recommended to buy belyash and chebureks at train stations. This is not safe, since these kitchens are unsanitary. It is impossible to know exactly from what meat the dishes are made.
Let’s prepare belyashi on our own at home.

- Sugar – 1 tbsp;
- Dry yeast – 8 g;
- Flour – 500 g;
- Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp.
Ingredients for stuffing:
- Cheese – 250 g;
- Dill – a bunch;
- Salt – ½ tsp.
Preparation of homemade belyashi:
Turn boiled peeled potatoes into a mashed potato, combine with egg and mix thoroughly. Pour warm potato broth into the mashed potatoes, pour salt, sugar and yeast, mix.
Sift flour into the potato mixture, knead elastic dough
.
Pour vegetable oil into the dough, keep kneading to get rid of stickiness
. Cover the dough
with cling
film and leave it warm for an hour. At this time, grate the cheese and chop the dill finely. Combine the dill and cheese in a bowl, salt and mix. Knead
the dough and divide it into 16 equal parts. Make tortillas out of each lump and put the filling in them. Seal the filling in the patties as if in a pouch.
Place patties on parchment, seam side down. In a skillet in hot vegetable oil fry the patties until golden on both sides.
You get cheese belyashi on potato broth.
You can also add cilantro and parsley to the filling to enhance the flavor.
