Lavash is a versatile dough product. In this thin flatbread you can wrap many foods, vegetables and meat, for example. At the same time, if you add sauce, you will get a delicious dish. It
does not take a lot of effort to make an appetizer from lavash. Success lies in this product, which acts as a kind of edible parchment.
Basically, pita is popular in the Middle East. It is from Georgia and Armenia that pita came to our state. It is
worth learning how to make homemade appetizers using pita.
Ingredients for lavash rolls:
- Pita – 2 sheets;
- Chicken thigh fillet – 600 g;
- Champignons – 400 g;
- Carrots – 200 g;
- Sweet pepper – 150 g;
- Green onions – 100 g;
- Vegetable oil – 50 ml;
- Salt – ½ tsp;
- Curry – ½ tsp;
- Hot pepper – ¼ tsp;
- Mayonnaise – 130 g;
- Garlic – 2 cloves;
- Dill – a bunch.
Preparation of pita rolls:
Mushrooms should be cut into small pieces, cleaned in advance from the top dirty layer. In a frying pan it is necessary to fry mushrooms until they decrease in size, then pour vegetable oil on the bottom.
Beforehand, it is necessary to chop carrots on a coarse grater, cut sweet pepper with a straw

These vegetables need to be added to the mushrooms, stew together for 4 minutes.
While the vegetables are stewing, you need to chop green onions and add to the vegetable mass. The mixture should then be salted and stirred.
Chicken fillet should be cut into small pieces, fry until golden in a frying pan, sprinkle with curry and hot pepper.
Shinkle finely dill, grate garlic cloves

Smear pita bread with mayonnaise, sprinkle with dill and garlic

Mix chicken meat with vegetable mass, put the filling in the middle of the pita.
It is necessary to twist the stuffing in the pita to form a roll. Next, you need to cover the baking tray with parchment, lay out the rolls and grease with egg yolk.
Bake the rolls at 220 degrees for no more than 20 minutes.
Before baking it is recommended to sprinkle the rolls with sesame seeds for a richer flavor.
