Mackerel, biologically speaking, is a fish from the commercial species of the perch suborder. The more common name worldwide is Mackerel. Mackerel inhabits both the Atlantic Ocean and the Black, Mediterranean, Baltic and Barents Seas. Mackerel

Ingredients for Korean mackerel:
- mackerel – 3 pcs;
- salt – ½ tsp;
- ground pepper – a pinch;
- lemon juice;
- onion – 3 pcs;
- dried ginger – tsp;
- crushed garlic – 4 cloves;
- chili flakes;
- sugar – 1 tsp;
- apple cider vinegar – 2 tbsp;
- soy sauce – 4 tbsp;
- dark beer – 200 ml.
Preparation of Korean-style mackerel:
Clean the mackerel from the insides, remove the head, tail and fins. Divide each fish into two parts, put in a deep container.
Sprinkle the fish on both sides with salt and ground black pepper. Squeeze the juice from the lemon, pour the fish similarly on both sides.
Leave the mackerel under the food film for 15-20 minutes to marinate.
In the meantime, cut onions into thin feathers, bring to softness in a pan with vegetable oil.

Roast the potatoes for 10 minutes under a lid, then turn them cut-side down and continue roasting for 5 minutes. Don’t forget to sprinkle the potatoes with spices and salt.
Without parchment cook the fish in the oven for 10-15 minutes.
If desired, sprinkle the potatoes with parmesan and cook for 5 minutes on low heat.
