.Why can not refuse pumpkin in the diet? The fact is that this vegetable is able to cope with avitaminosis faster than any other vegetables. It contains a wide range of different vitamins A, B and C. For this reason, it is worth finding a favorite pumpkin dish for yourself,
for example, this hearty pumpkin pie.
Pumpkin pie dough ingredients:
- flour – 400 g;
- salt – 1 tsp;
- water – 200 g.
Ingredients for stuffing:
- pumpkin – 300 g;
- onion – pcs;
- vegetable oil – 3 tbsp;
- salt – ½ tsp;
- ground black pepper – ⅓ tsp;
- paprika – ½ tsp;
- butter – 100 g.
Preparation of pumpkin pie:
Mix the flour with salt, pour in the water and knead an elastic and not sticky dough. Let the dough stay warm under a towel for 15 minutes.
Dice onions and fry in a frying pan with vegetable oil until golden. Peel the pumpkin from its insides and skin
. Grate the pumpkin on a small grater, put the mass in the frying pan with the onion. Fry the pumpkin until soft with the onion, salt, sprinkle with ground black pepper and paprika.
Place the mixture on a plate and leave to cool. Divide the dough into two parts, roll each part into a thin oval
. Place ½ of the filling on the oval, spreading it over the surface.
Seal the filling inside the dough and place the pie in the pan.
Do the same procedure with the second layer and the rest of the filling.
Fry the pie on a dry frying pan on both sides until browned.
