Cabbage is used not only in the culinary environment, but also in folk medicine, cosmetology and other industries. This vegetable has been growing on our territory for quite a long time. If we compare it with potatoes, cabbage is more “native” to us.

Ingredients for cabbage patties:
- cabbage – 500 g;
- baking soda – ½ tsp;
- onion – pcs;
- flour – 300 g;
- carrots – pcs;
- salt – ⅔ tsp;
- ground black pepper – ⅓ tsp;
- sugar – tsp;
- vegetable oil – 50 ml;
- eggs – 2 pcs;
- kefir 2.5% – 400 ml.
Preparation of patties with cabbage:
Cut the onion in half rings, fry it in vegetable oil until slightly golden. While the onion is frying, chop carrots on a fine grater, add to the onion. Cook the vegetables until soft, while chopping cabbage
. Pour cabbage to the vegetables, cover with a lid and stew for 5-7 minutes. Salt ½ tsp. cabbage mass, add black pepper and mix well.
Break a couple of eggs into the kefir, pour sugar and salt, mix well. Pour the flour into the mixture, knead a thick dough. Add baking soda to the flour mixture, mix the ingredients again.
Pour the cooled vegetable mixture into the dough, mix.
Using a spoon, transfer the dough to a frying pan with hot vegetable oil. Fry the patties on both sides until browned.
This recipe for patties is more like fritters.
