I don’t make dumplings anymore. I make it simpler and tastier: now it is my husband’s favorite dish

Everyone knows such a wonderful dish as dumplings. However, in addition to the popular dumplings, there are also dumplings. Like dumplings, they can also be cooked with different fillings, the only difference is the shape and some components in the dough. The reason why dumplings have not become as famous as dumplings is a big question.

Judging by the sales statistics, there is an assumption that dumplings are also bought by foreigners. Many people pass by dumplings just because of the shape. But, this does not make dumplings less tasty than dumplings. The main thing is to properly prepare the dish. From the purchased analogs of dumplings it is better to refuse, as they are bland and not juicy.

Let’s prepare homemade dumplings with meat.

Ingredients for dumplings:

  • boiling water – 250 ml;
  • butter – 3 tbsp;
  • flour – 550 g;
  • salt – tsp;
  • egg – 2 pcs;
  • minced meat – 350 g;
  • onion – 4 pcs;
  • cabbage – 700 g;
  • sauerkraut – 600 g;
  • vegetable oil – 3 tbsp;
  • potatoes – 6 pcs.

Preparation of dumplings:

Pour melted butter into boiling water and stir slightly. Pour flour, salt, eggs into the boiling water and start kneading the dough with a spatula

. As soon as the boiling water cools down, knead the elastic and soft dough with your hands, form a block.

Leave the block under the lid for 20 minutes in the heat. Dice

In a frying pan with vegetable oil, fry the onion. Add sauerkraut and regular cabbage to the onions, stir.
