Pizza is the most popular fast food around the world. This is not surprising, as Italian dishes have always been famous for their taste and flavor. Certainly, it is worth at least once to try a real Italian pizza. The
peculiarity of pizza from Italy is that it is baked according to certain traditions and recipes. For example, the oven for the dough is heated to 220 degrees – no more, no less. Italians believe that the dough is the most important part in the dish.
Let’s take into account the recommendations of Italian cooks and cook a delicious pizza from the right dough.
Ingredients for pizza:
- flour – 390 g;
- olive oil – tbsp;
- dry yeast – 7 g;
- salt – ½ tsp;
- water – 240 ml;
- basil – 2 leaves;
- tomato paste – 4 tbsp;
- onion – pcs;
- cherry tomatoes – 3 pcs;
- olives – 6 pcs;
- mozzarella – 200 g;
- sausage – 100 g.
Pizza preparation:
Mix 130 grams of flour with yeast, pour into the loose mixture water of temperature 50-55 degrees. Knead the dough with a spatula, turn on the oven and preheat to 220-250 degrees C.
In the resulting dough pour the rest of the flour and salt, continue to stir. Then add olive oil, knead the dough by hand on the table until it is no longer sticky.
While the dough rises under the lid in the heat, we chop basil and mix with tomato paste – this is the sauce for pizza. We cut onions into quarter rings and cherry tomatoes into rings.
We divide the dough into two rolls and roll them into layers.
Transfer both flatbreads to two baking trays with parchment, smear with prepared tomato sauce. Place the sliced onions and tomatoes, sausage and cheese, olives on the plates.
Bake in a preheated pizza oven for about 5-7 minutes.
