Few people don’t know about cutlets. This dish is so widespread in Europe that it has become a cult dish. European cutlets migrated to Asia, to the East.
Despite the simplicity of cooking cutlets, in each country this dish has its own recipe. In France, cutlets are prepared from ribs on the bone, the meat is not ground into mincemeat. In Greece, cutlets are cooked with the use of apple in the composition. In the USA, cutlets Hamburg – they are prepared from chopped beef steak
. In the CIS countries, cutlets are made from minced meat. Let’s talk about how to make delicious cutlets.
Ingredients for cutlets:
- minced meat – 500 g;
- salt – 5 g;
- black pepper – 3 g;
- garlic – 5 g;
- egg – 1 pc.
Ingredients for cheese mixture:
- cheese – 200 g;
- mayonnaise – 30 g;
- cherry tomatoes – 50 g;
- green onions – 20 g.
Ingredients for the dough:
- eggs – 2 pcs;
- salt – 3 g;
- milk – 250 ml;
- flour – 250 g;
- vegetable oil – 500 ml.
Preparation of cutlets:
In a bowl with minced meat break an egg, pour salt, black pepper, dried garlic and mix thoroughly. Put the meat layer on the foil with the area of 23×26 cm.
Grate cheese on a coarse grater, mix with mayonnaise for cheese mixture.

Chop tomatoes and chop green onions finely and sprinkle them on the cheese layer. Roll up the meat layer with the stuffing inside and put the roll in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
For the dough, break eggs in a bowl, salt and beat. Pour the milk into the egg mixture, pour in the flour and mix thoroughly until thick.
Cut the frozen roll into small pieces about 1 finger
thick.
Wrap each piece in the dough and fry on a frying pan in vegetable oil on both sides until browned.
You get unusual cutlets in batter with cheese filling.
