In Greece, pies are honored not with meat, but with vegetables. This gastronomic dissonance greatly surprises foreigners from northern countries. However, southerners are more accustomed to eating fruits and vegetables than meat products,
because fruits and vegetables contain more moisture, which helps them survive in the hot climate. As a tribute to tradition and culture, in southern countries even baked goods are more liked with vegetables than with fish or meat.

Ingredients for Greek pie:
- zucchini – 500 g;
- onions – 2 pcs;
- Adygea cheese – 150 g;
- liquid yogurt – 125 ml;
- vegetable oil – 50 ml;
- flour – 75 g;
- eggs – 3 pcs;
- leavening agent – tsp;
- oregano – tbsp;
- parsley – bundle;
- salt – ½ tsp.
Preparation of Greek pie:
Dice the zucchini into small cubes, cut the onion in half rings, chop finely oregano. In hot vegetable oil in a frying pan fry onions, add zucchini.
Fry the vegetables on high heat for 10 minutes. After 5 minutes of frying you can salt the vegetables, 2 minutes sprinkle oregano, stir.
While the vegetable mixture cools, you need to prepare the dough

In a bowl, combine eggs with yogurt, pour flour and baking powder.
Knead for a couple of minutes a homogeneous dough, into which we put the zucchini mixture. Cut the cheese into small cubes and put it in the dough with the zucchini
. Chop the parsley finely and put it in the bowl with the dough, cheese and zucchini.
Place the dough in the baking dish, smoothing it over the surface.
You can sprinkle sweet paprika on the top
Bake the Greek pie at 180 degrees in the oven for 40 minutes.
