Curds are a type of cheesecake that many people have forgotten about. It seems that cheesecakes and curds are the same thing. However, over time, the difference between cheesecakes and curds has become more noticeable. The
fact is that cheesecakes are prepared with a minimum amount of flour, more often semolina is used. In the case of curds, flour plays not the last role in the preparation. Both dishes are intended for breakfast and both are obligatory cottage cheese as the main product.
Let’s make cottage cheese at home according to the classic recipe.
Ingredients for curds:
- cottage cheese – 200 g;
- egg – pcs;
- butter – 50 g;
- sour cream – 2 tbsp;
- sugar;
- flour – 200 ml;
- vanilla sugar – tsp;
- leavening agent – tsp;
- apple – pcs.
Preparation of cottage cheese:
Break the egg in a bowl, pour sugar to taste and mix the components until the sugar dissolves. Add cottage cheese, sour cream and flour.
Melt butter and add to the mixture. Pour in vanilla sugar and leavening agent, mix the components thoroughly.
Peel the apple from the skin and seed pods, cut into small pieces

Put the apple pieces into the cottage cheese mixture, mix.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, fry small cottage cheese patties on medium heat.
