I make it instead of the boring Charlotka. For this recipe, I always have food on hand

People learned to bake pies quite a long time ago. Since ancient times, this simple meal could feed a huge family. Many fruits and vegetables were used to make pies. It was quite problematic to make baked goods from meat, as beef or pork are expensive products,

so peasants, as a rule, baked pies from what was in the vegetable gardens. During the harvest period, i.e. in the fall, many spoiled themselves with apple pies. In winter, baked goods were made from jam prepared in the summer.

We want to show how you can make a delicious pie with jam

Ingredients for pie with jam:

  • Eggs – 2 pcs;
  • Milk – 100 ml;
  • Sour cream – 100 g;
  • Vegetable oil – 100 g;
  • Sugar – 150 g;
  • Salt – ¼ tsp;
  • Vanillin – 0.5 g;
  • Leavening agent – 12 g;
  • Flour – 220 g;
  • Jam – 300 g;
  • Walnuts – 20 g.

Preparation of the pie with jam:

First you need to combine flour with baking powder. Separately, beat eggs with a mixer for a couple of minutes with vanilla, granulated sugar and salt until the grains of sand dissolve.

Pour milk and vegetable oil into the egg mixture

Add sour cream to the mixture and mix. Sift flour into the mixture and knead a thick dough.

Cover the baking tray with parchment, pour the dough onto it and spread it evenly on the surface. Bake the biscuit at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes.

The resulting biscuit should be separated from the parchment, cut horizontally into two parts and slightly trim the edges. Smear one cake with jam or jam, cover with the second cake.
