Ingredients for the dough:

  • Warm milk – 250 ml
  • Yeast – 6 g;
  • Sugar – 20 g;
  • Eggs – 1 piece;
  • Butter – 80 ml;
  • Flour – 480 g;
  • Salt – 0.5 tsp.

Ingredients for meat stuffing:

  • Ground meat – 330 g;
  • Onion – 1 piece;
  • Bulgarian pepper – 1 piece;
  • Carrots – 1 piece;
  • Dill – 30 g;
  • Salt, black pepper, red paprika – to taste.

Preparation of mincemeat pie:

To prepare the dough in a bowl with milk combine yeast, sugar, egg white and melted butter, mix the ingredients with a whisk.

Pour to the milk mixture flour and salt, knead the dough with your hands

Leave the dough in a warm place for 20-30 minutes under a food film.

Onions and bell peppers cut into small cubes, grate carrots, add the vegetables to the minced meat. Add chopped dill, spices and salt to the minced

meat. Divide the dough into 4 parts, form lumps. Roll out the lumps into tortillas with a diameter of 20-24 centimeters. Then roll out the layer to a thickness of a centimeter

. Smear the surface of each layer with vegetable oil and stack them on top of each other. Cut the layers into two halves

Put the filling on the puff pastry billet, pinch the edges, place the pies on a baking tray.
