A salad is a dish created from foods cut into equal pieces and dressed with a certain sauce. Salads first appeared in ancient Greece, where they quickly became a popular dish. As a rule, salads were consumed by athletes to maintain a healthy body. Earlier salads were not a dish with different types of sausages, cheeses in the composition. Salad was a meal of greens and onions with dressing in the form of salt and olive oil.
Modern salads are very different from the ancient ones. Now no one will not eat greens with salt, since there are worthy analogs.
Let’s prepare an appetizer salad from sprats
.
Ingredients for sprats salad:
- sprats – 180 g;
- boiled eggs – 2 pcs;
- salted cucumbers – 2 pcs;
- onions – 1 pc;
- mayonnaise;
- rye bread – 3 slices;
- salt – 1/2 tsp;
- garlic powder – 1/2 tsp;
- vegetable oil – 1 tbsp.
Preparation of sprats salad:
Remove the sprats from the can, knead them with a fork. Cut peeled eggs into small cubes. Similarly, do the same with pickles
. Lay eggs on a plate, and then cucumbers, cover with a layer of sprats. Chop finely onions and fry in a frying pan with vegetable oil. Put the onion

Smear the salad with mayonnaise net.
Cut small cubes of bread, put them in a cellophane bag. Pour salt and garlic powder in the same place, pour oil. Close the bag and mix the contents thoroughly
. Put the bread on a baking tray lined with parchment. Dry the bread in the oven at 180 degrees for 5-7 minutes.
Sprinkle the breadcrumbs over the salad.
You can also sprinkle the salad with chopped dill for decoration.
