Pies are a cozy homemade dish that has been prepared throughout human history. Pies began to be cooked after they discovered the making of bread. The first pies did not look like they do now. However, they revolutionized the world of cooking in terms of baking.

The fact is that pies were often prepared for holidays. This was especially true of meat pies. Many peasants could afford meat pies only on holidays.
Let’s prepare the simplest pies in a skillet

Ingredients for pies:
- potatoes – 600 g;
- potato broth – 200 ml;
- vegetable oil – 20 ml;
- egg – 1 pc;
- yeast – 6 g;
- sugar – tsp;
- salt – 1 tsp;
- flour – 500 g.
Preparation of pies:
Peeled potatoes are cut and boiled until ready in salted water. Turn the potatoes into mashed potatoes, mix with egg, sugar and yeast.
Pour into the mashed potatoes vegetable oil and potato broth, stir. Sift the flour into the mixture in several stages and knead the dough.
The dough should be soft and slightly sticky

Leave the dough under a towel in the heat for 40 minutes. Knead
the dough and divide it into 3 equal parts. Roll out each dough into 1 cm thick sheets. Using a glass, divide the large flatbread into small ones.
Leave the small flatbreads on a baking tray to proof. Pour vegetable oil into a deep
frying
pan and heat.
Put the risen cakes into the oil and fry on both sides until browned.
Place the patties on a paper towel to get rid of excess fat.
The result is simple lazy potato patties.
