Curd casserole was recognized by Soviet cooks and medics as one of the healthiest types of breakfast. And it was believed that the fewer ingredients in cottage cheese casserole, the better. That is, it is quite possible to exclude sugar, flour and other components from the dish.
However, cottage cheese casserole with a minimum of products is not liked by everyone. This dietary option can be too sour or bland for the average person. Especially a child will not want to eat unsweetened cottage cheese casserole
. Therefore, cooks had to think how to make the casserole attractive to the younger generation. So there were cottage cheese casseroles with jam, fruit and jams.
Ingredients for cottage cheese casserole:
- 9% cottage cheese – 500 g;
- eggs – 3 pcs;
- salt – ½ tsp;
- sugar – 3 tbsp;
- kefir – 5 tablespoons;
- cornstarch – 3 tbsp;
- berries.
Preparation of cottage cheese casserole:
In a bowl with cottage cheese, break eggs, pour salt and granulated sugar, mix.
Pour
kefir into the cottage cheese mixture, mix again.
Pour starch into the cottage cheese mixture, mix the components. Using an immersion blender, whip the ingredients until a homogeneous, thick consistency.
Grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle with flour. Spread the cottage cheese mixture into the mold, spread it into an even layer.
Place frozen berries on top of the curd mixture.
Bake the curd mixture in the oven at 180 degrees for 45 minutes.
