Lavash is an irreplaceable thin flatbread that can be an excellent base for many recipes. For example, it is impossible to imagine making a Caesar roll or shawarma without lavash. In addition to these famous dishes, there are many national Armenian and Georgian dishes in pita.
In addition to the fact that many ingredients are combined with pita, the flatbread can be consumed separately. This product is self-sufficient, while universal.
Let’s give a recipe for cooking another delicious appetizer from pita.
Ingredients for herring in pita:
- herring fillet – 200 g;
- melted cheese – 200 g;
- green onions – 6 sprigs;
- boiled eggs – 2 pcs;
- lavash – pcs.
Cooking herring in pita:
Fold in half a thin pita, smear the surface with a layer of softened melted cheese. Take out the bones from the fillet, beat it not hard with a hammer
