Ingredients:
- Kefir – 250 ml;
- Egg – 1 pc;
- Salt – ½ tsp;
- Sugar – 3 tsp;
- Soda – ½ tsp;
- Flour – 400 g;
- Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp;
Ingredients for the filling:
- Apple – 2 pcs;
- Sugar – 2 tbsp;
- Jam – 1 tbsp;
- Butter – 1 tbsp.
Preparation of apple pies:
In a bowl with kefir pour salt and sugar, break an egg, add baking soda and mix thoroughly. Pour the flour into the mixture and knead a soft, slightly sticky dough. Pour
vegetable oil into the dough and continue kneading. Leave the dough under a towel for 15 minutes.
In the meantime, chop the apples finely and remove the seed pods. Put the apples in a frying pan together with the sugar, butter and jam.
Fry the apples with the rest of the ingredients until caramelized. Next, transfer the filling to a separate bowl until cooled.
Divide the dough into 8 equal parts, shape the rolls. Roll out the rolls into small flat cakes, put the filling in each half of the dough.
Cover the filling with the second half of the flat cake dough and seal the edges.
The resulting patties are similar to chebureks in shape.
The edges can be sealed with a fork.
Fry the patties in a frying pan in vegetable oil until golden on both sides.
