Ingredients for lazy patties:
- Boiled potatoes – 300 g;
- Kefir – 200 ml;
- Salt – 1 tsp;
- Leavening agent – 1 tsp;
- Flour – 400 ml;
- Dill – 20 g.
Preparation of lazy patties:
To boiled peeled potatoes pour kefir, pour salt and leavening agent. Turn the potatoes into mashed potatoes with a masher, mix with the ingredients until homogeneous.
Pour the flour into the potato mixture, knead the elastic and soft dough with your hands. Chop the dill and pour it into the dough, continue kneading the sticky dough on an oiled table.
Divide the dough into 12 equal balls. In a skillet in vegetable oil fry the patties on both sides until browned.
Don’t forget to put the patties on a paper towel to get rid of the oil.
You get puffy potato patties.

Ingredients for dumplings:
- 9% cottage cheese – 500 g;
- sugar – 3 tbsp;
- egg – 1 pc;
- semolina – 2 tablespoons;
- flour – 2 tbsp.
Preparation of dumplings:
Pour sugar, semolina and beaten egg into cottage cheese, knead a homogeneous mass. Leave the mass under a food film in the heat for half an hour.
Visually divide the mass into 3 parts. Sprinkle flour on the table and put ⅓ of the mass on the surface, divide into 2 parts.
Roll out thin dough bundles, sprinkle with flour.
Cut the bundles into small diamond-shaped slices

Repeat the same procedure with the other dough pieces.
Boil the dumplings in boiling salted water. It is
better to serve the dumplings in soup and cook them as well.
