first appeared in the East. Probably, they began to cook the flatbread in the Caucasus. Later lavash began to migrate to other countries, and came to Armenia and Georgia. In these countries, the thin flatbread is still used as bread. Many people wrap meat and vegetables in pita without using plates.

Ingredients for meat rolls:
- Stuffing – 300 g;
- Onion – 1 pc;
- Salt – ½ tsp;
- Paprika – ⅓ tsp;
- Coriander – a pinch;
- Milk – 60 ml;
- Cheese – 130 g;
- Dill – bundle;
- Egg – 2 pcs;
- Flour – 2 tbsp;
- Lavash – 2 sheets.
Preparation of meat rolls:
Dice small onions, mix with minced meat, pour salt, paprika and coriander into it. Pour 30 ml of milk into the mince, mix everything thoroughly
. Grate cheese on a coarse grater, chop dill. Divide pita bread into small rectangles. Put minced meat in them, spread it over the whole surface not reaching the edges 2-3 cm.
Sprinkle the minced meat with cheese and dill, roll up into rolls.
Brush the edge of each roll with egg and seal.
Beat the egg, milk and flour mixture in a separate bowl. Coat each roll in this mixture.
In a skillet in vegetable oil fry each roll under a lid until browned on both sides.
As a result, we have delicious meat rolls in pita bread.
A good substitute for fried patties.
