Meatballs are loved by a lot of people as it is a great analog of cutlets. Recently, the excitement for meatballs has grown a lot. Many people are bored with ordinary cutlets, which became a reason to search for an affordable alternative. Meatballs are quite suitable in all parameters to replace cutlets. They are also prepared from minced meat, have almost the same composition. But, meatballs can be diverse. There are meatballs, mitballs and other variations in different countries. Ingredients for meatballs:
- Potatoes – 2 pcs;
- Carrots – 1 pc;
- Onion – 1 pc;
- Stuffed meat – 500 g;
- Vegetable oil -70 ml;
- Salt – 1.5 tsp;
- Paprika – 1 tsp;
- Coriander – ½ tsp;
- Black pepper – a pinch;
- Tomato sauce – 2 tbsp;
- Sour cream – 2 tbsp;
- Water – 300 ml.
Preparation of meatballs:
Peeled potatoes rub together with carrots on a fine grater and leave for 10 minutes. Squeeze the mixture of vegetables from excess liquid and transfer to the minced
meat. In a bowl with minced meat pour vegetable oil, pour salt, paprika, coriander, black pepper.
After mixing the components, form oval meatballs.
Chop the onion finely and fry in a frying pan in vegetable oil for a couple of minutes. Place meatballs on the onions and fry each on both sides for 2 minutes.
Mix tomato sauce with sour cream, pour in water. Pour the sauce to the meatballs, cover with a lid and stew over low heat for 20 minutes.
Meatballs can be served with different side dishes.
