Many people know about tubes with boiled condensed milk. This dessert was relevant in the Soviet Union. These tubes were prepared in parks, canteens and resorts. However, few people know that these tubes are not only with condensed milk.
It turns out that in a waffle tube you can put a lot of different fillings. It is not necessary that the filling of the tube was sweet. You can make tubes with meat, vanilla cream and other fillings.

Ingredients of the dough for cheese tubes:
- egg – 2 pcs;
- salt – tsp;
- dried garlic – 1/2 tsp;
- paprika – 1/2 tsp;
- flour – 150 g;
- potatoes – 2 pcs;
- green onions – bundle;
- Milk – 350 ml.
Ingredients for stuffing:
- boiled eggs – 4 pcs;
- fried onions – pcs;
- cheese – 100 g;
- salt – a pinch.
Preparation of cheese tubes:
To prepare the dough, break eggs in a bowl, pour salt, dried garlic and paprika, whisk. Gradually pour the milk into the egg mixture, keep stirring.
Sift the flour into the egg mixture and knead the dough

Grate the peeled potatoes on a fine grater, squeeze out the excess liquid and put them into the dough. Chop
the green onions finely
and
pour them into the dough

Grease a frying pan with vegetable oil and heat it up. Put a thin layer of dough on the bottom of the pan, fry under a lid on both sides until golden crust.
You should get 5-6 layers.
To prepare the filling, cut a small diced onion, fry it in a frying pan until golden. Grate cheese, put it in a container with peeled boiled eggs along with fried onions. Grind
boiled eggs with a mallet with the rest of the filling, mix and salt. Put the filling on each layer and roll into a tube.
You can cut each tube in half to make more appetizers. These cheese tubes can replace the usual appetizer on the festive table.
