Khachapuri is a world-famous Georgian dish. It consists of filling and dough, which is baked in the form of a boat. The filling for khachapuri is salted cheese with the addition of egg yolk. A prerequisite for making traditional khachapuri is the yolk of a home-cooked chicken.
Only Georgian cooks can properly prepare this dish. For this reason, you should not try to identically repeat the classic recipe on your own. We will show you how you can make a flatbread similar to khachapuri.
Ingredients for lazy khachapuri:
- eggs – 2 pcs;
- milk – 300 ml;
- salt – a pinch;
- vegetable oil – 3 tablespoons;
- flour – 200 g;
- cheese – 100 g;
- dill – bundle;
- green onion – a bunch;
- sour cream – 200 g;
- cucumber – pcs.
Preparation of lazy khachapuri:
To prepare the dough, mix eggs and milk in a bowl until homogeneous. Pour vegetable oil into the mixture of milk and eggs, salt and stir.
Sift flour into the resulting mass, knead a thick dough

Shred cheese on small grating cutters, add to the dough, mix.
Heat the surface of a frying pan without vegetable oil.
Pour a ladleful of batter into the frying pan, fry until golden, 3 minutes. Similarly fry the other side of khachapuri.
For the sauce, chop dill and green onions, grate cucumber finely. Add the greens and cucumber mass to the sour cream, mix.
You get an excellent cheese flatbread with sauce. This appetizer dish can replace scrambled eggs for breakfast.
