They ground and roasted the beans, mixed them with water and bitter pepper.
Later, Europeans learned about cocoa beans and began to experiment. First came coffee and then bitter chocolate. Confectioners by trial and error began to derive formulas for sweet chocolate.
Now from this confectionery you can create a lot of interesting cakes and pastries
.
We will tell you about how to make a sweet homemade cake.
Ingredients of the batter for chocolate cake:
- eggs – 4 pcs;
- sugar – 160 g;
- vegetable oil – 100 ml;
- leavening agent – 14 g;
- milk – 200 ml;
- cocoa powder – 45 g;
- flour – 150 g.
Ingredients for the filling:
- white chocolate – 600 g;
- milk powder – 90 g;
- cream 17% – 400 ml;
- butter – 25 g.
Preparation of chocolate cake:
In the bowl of a blender pour sugar, pour vegetable oil and warm milk, beat eggs. Beat the ingredients for a minute until homogeneous.
Sift the flour into a separate bowl along with the baking powder and cocoa powder. Pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture and stir with a whisk.
Grease the sides and bottom of the baking dish (22x10x10 cm) with butter. Cover the bottom with parchment, pour the batter into the mold.
Bake the cake biscuit for 40 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees C.
While the biscuit is baking you need to combine white chocolate chips and hot cream in a blender bowl. Add butter and milk powder to the mixed ingredients.
Take the biscuit out of the mold, cut off the top. Divide the biscuit into two cakes.
Cover a clean mold with cellophane, move one of the cakes to the bottom. Pour the white chocolate filling over the cake, cover with the second cake.
Seal the cake in cellophane, send it to the freezer for at least 4 hours.
After the cake hardens, we get a dessert with a large layer of sweet filling. Before serving, you can sprinkle the cake with powdered sugar or milk powder.
