almost impossible to make khachapuri at home, unless you are Georgian. Therefore, we will prepare a lazy semblance of khachapuri.
Ingredients for lazy khachapuri:
- kefir 2.5% – 300 ml;
- flour – 260 g;
- salt – tsp;
- cheese – 200 g;
- baking soda – tsp;
- potatoes – 200 g;
- milk – 200 ml;
- eggs – 2 pcs.
Preparation of lazy khachapuri:
Boil the peeled potatoes until soft, at this time pour salt and baking soda into the kefir, wait for a reaction. Pour milk into the kefir, break eggs and beat everything until homogeneous.
Shred cheese and boiled potatoes on a medium grater, integrate into the kefir and mix. Sift flour into the resulting mixture, knead the dough.
On a frying pan with vegetable oil, place part of the dough, form a flatbread. Fry lazy khachapuri until golden crust on both sides under a lid.
From this amount of products you can make 5 flatbreads.
