Many people from childhood have formed a dislike for cottage cheese casserole. Babies, as a rule, are not particularly good at baked goods and dishes from fermented dairy products. This is probably due to the fact that cottage cheese can be sour
. However, cottage cheese casserole is quite nutritious and useful dish. It was prepared in ancient times by Slavic peoples to feed a large mixture.
If you previously had a negative attitude to casserole, we advise you to reconsider your position. It is worth giving a chance to homemade casserole. For babies, we suggest cooking cottage cheese casserole on kefir and with the addition of sweet jam or berries.
Ingredients for casserole on kefir:
- cottage cheese – 500 g;
- berries – 100 g;
- kefir – 5 tablespoons;
- eggs – 3 pcs;
- sugar – 3 tbsp;
- starch – 3 tablespoons;
- salt – ½ tsp.
Preparation of casserole on kefir:
In cottage cheese you need to break eggs, pour salt and granulated sugar. Mix all the components together, pour kefir into the mixture. Pour
starch into the mixture and stir everything again. Beat the curd mass with an immersion blender to a thick homogeneous consistency. If the mass is not thick, add more kefir and egg. Grease
the baking mold with butter – the bottom and walls. Sprinkle the surface of the mold with flour, spread on the sides.
Spread the curd mixture into the baking mold, spreading it evenly over the surface. On top of the mass lay berries, frozen or fresh.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, bake the casserole for about 30 minutes.
Such a casserole on kefir with pleasure will be eaten even by small family members.
You can add cherries, blackberries, cherries or your favorite fruits – bananas, apples, pears.
