Over time, the recipe for banana mousse has undergone changes. Different ingredients such as chocolate, vanilla, liqueur or whipped cream have been added.

Let’s prepare banana mousse in 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • banana – 3 pcs;
  • butter – 30 g;
  • milk – 250 ml;
  • cornstarch – 40 g;
  • cream – 250 ml;
  • condensed milk – 150 g.

Preparation of banana mousse:

Slice the banana into thin slices. Melt butter in a frying pan, fry banana slices for 10 minutes on low heat.

Beat lightly fried banana with an immersion blender to a homogeneous mass. Pour the milk into the banana mixture, pour in the cornstarch

and

mix. Put the mixture

into a saucepan and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Then transfer the mixture to a separate bowl and cool down.

Cover the custard base with cling film. Beat the cream with condensed milk with a mixer

. Separately beat the custard base, gradually add it to the cream with condensed

milk.

Mix and whisk the components, transfer to a pastry bag.
