Many foreigners who have been in African countries, poorly evaluate local culinary delights.
Pies from Africa are not as tasty as Slavic
ones.
Let’s prepare a classic quick pie with green onions.
Ingredients for pie dough with green onions:
- Kefir – 200 ml;
- Eggs – 3 pcs;
- Flour – 200 g;
- Mayonnaise – 3 tbsp;
- Baking powder – 1 tsp;
- Salt – ½ tsp.
Ingredients for the filling:
- Green onions – 150 g;
- Boiled eggs – 4 pcs;
- Butter – 20 g.
Preparation of the pie with green onions:
To prepare the filling you need to chop finely green onions, cut small cubes of hard-boiled eggs. In a separate bowl you need to melt butter, mix with onions and eggs, salt to taste. In
order to make the dough, you need to beat eggs with salt in a separate bowl. In the egg mass pour mayonnaise, pour kefir and mix.
Flour is combined with baking powder, sift into the egg mixture and knead a not particularly thick dough
.
Cover the bottom of the mold with parchment and grease with vegetable oil.
Spread ½ of the dough on the bottom, spread it evenly on the surface.
Put the filling on the dough, fill with the second part of the dough.
Bake the pie at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes.
It is recommended to sprinkle the top of the pie with sesame seeds before sending it to the oven. So the dish will turn out not only tasty and flavorful, but also beautiful.
