All the world’s chefs know about julienne, as it is one of the exquisite French dishes, which at the same time is accessible to everyone. Making homemade julienne is not as difficult as many novice cooks think. In
fact, the main highlight of the dish is vegetables cut in a certain way. From French, julienne translates to July, which relates this dish to the month in which it is prepared. July has the freshest and juiciest vegetables. Slicing with tortillas helps to convey the juiciness of julienne.
Let’s tell you how to prepare a certain analog of the popular French dish – chicken bits.
Ingredients for chicken bits:
- chicken fillet – 700 g;
- mushrooms – 300 g;
- onions – 200 g;
- cream 15% – 200 g;
- hard cheese – 200 g;
- salt – ½ tsp;
- flour – 100 g;
- eggs – 4 pcs.
Cooking chicken bits:
Cut thin half plates of mushrooms, stew in a dry pan until the liquid evaporates. Cut onions into small cubes, divide into thin fillet steaks.
Pour vegetable oil to the mushrooms, add butter. Pour onions, spices and salt to the mushrooms, mix. Beat chicken steaks on one side, slightly salted.
Fry mushrooms and onions until golden, pour cream to mushrooms
.
Roll the chicken steaks in flour and coat in beaten eggs. Fry
the chicken steaks in a frying pan on both sides until browned. Place the steaks on a parchment-lined baking tray.
Place mushrooms in cream on steaks. Grate cheese on a coarse grater and sprinkle it on top of the mushroom sauce.
Bake the chicken bits at 150 degrees for 10 minutes.
Thus we get a great dish for a festive table.
