The culture of appetizer preparation is not the same in different cultures of the world. For our country, it is important that an appetizer should be hearty and could be a full-fledged continuation of the banquet. For Europeans, an appetizer is something ephemeral. That is, they are not nourishing dishes, necessary only for light satiation.
Probably for this reason, the Slavic peoples have many different types of appetizers

In winter, salads, canapes and sandwiches are more often used. In summer, light vegetable dishes are used as an appetizer.
Let’s talk about the preparation of an appetizer from zucchini
.
Ingredients for zucchini appetizer:
- zucchini – 3 pcs;
- salt – 1 tbsp;
- water – 1.5 liters.
Ingredients for the marinade:
- sweet pepper – pcs;
- parsley – 50 g;
- garlic – 5 cloves;
- salt – ½ tsp;
- hot red pepper – ½ tsp7;
- honey – 50 g;
- lemon juice -3 tbsp;
- vegetable oil – 70 ml.
Preparation of zucchini appetizer:
Cut zucchini into large rings.
In a saucepan, heat a liter of water, salt and put zucchini. After a couple minutes of boiling, drain the water and leave the zucchini in a colander.
Dice the peeled sweet pepper into small cubes, chop parsley. Press garlic cloves through a press and add to the pepper and parsley mixture.
Add honey, salt, hot red pepper and lemon juice to the vegetables.
Place ½ of the zucchini in a bowl, cover with ½ of the pepper and parsley mixture.
Place the zucchini on top of the marinade layer, similarly cover with the vegetable and herbs mixture. In a skillet it is worthwhile to heat vegetable oil, pour it on the zucchini in the marinade.
Cover the dish with a lid and send it to the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
This appetizer, unlike other dishes, is prepared quickly. At the same time, zucchini appetizer does not require special efforts in cooking.
