Pancakes have always been considered a simple dish, usually prepared for breakfast. In the 20th century, pancakes became an important part of cooking for most European countries. A huge number of pancake houses opened in America, which still exist today. One of the most popular types of pancakes is the “Chocolatier”. These pancakes are thin and have a filling in the form of chocolate. As a dessert, “Chocolatnitsa” pancakes became in demand in many restaurants.
Now there is not such a strong excitement for pancakes. People are used to the fact that pancakes can be bought in the store and heated at home. But, better than homemade pancakes have not yet created anything.
Ingredients for homemade pancakes:
- flour – 300 g;
- kefir 2.5% – 300 ml;
- milk – 300 ml;
- egg – pcs;
- sugar – tbsp;
- vegetable oil – tbsp;
- baking soda – tsp;
- salt – a pinch.
Preparation of homemade pancakes:
In a bowl with flour, break an egg, pour salt and granulated sugar. Pour into the bowl with flour kefir in batches, knead the dough with a whisk.
Pour baking soda into the dough, continue kneading the dough with a whisk. Pour milk into the thick kefir dough, stir with a whisk again and get a liquid dough.

As soon as the tops have set and bubbles form on the surface, flip to the other side and fry for 20-25 seconds. Fry
over medium heat.
It is recommended to serve the pancakes with sour cream. You get thin pancakes, for which you do not need to heat neither milk nor kefir.
