Tomatoes are the Mexican national vegetable. It was in the territory of this country that this unusual vegetable began to grow. However, tomatoes were brought to Europe by the Spaniards in the 16th century.

Ingredients for pickled tomatoes:
- Salt – tbsp;
- Sugar – 4 tbsp;
- Vinegar 9% – 4 tbsp;
- Tomatoes – quantity per 1 liter jar.
Preparation of pickled tomatoes:
In sterilized jars lay out tightly tomatoes, pour steep boiling water over them. We leave the jars with the lids covered for 15 minutes, and then pour out the water.
In a saucepan pour clean water – 1 liter. Pour salt and sugar into the water, bring to a boil. Pour vinegar into the marinade, again bring to a boil
. Pour the marinade into the jars with tomatoes, roll up.
Turn the jar upside down, wrapped in a blanket. Leave the jar with tomatoes until they cool down completely.
