Korean beets. A salad that stays in the fridge for a week and only gets tastier

Recipes for dishes made from beet have become dramatically popular in Asia. The Internet has been taken over by bloggers who constantly post videos with various algorithms for cooking beet salads, casseroles and even pies. It

is not surprising that the Japanese are so interested in this root vegetable. Asians love healthy food, often combine vegetables and fruits with various desserts and fast food. Probably, this explains the fact that the Japanese are long-lived on our planet.

Beets, in addition to getting rid of diseases, gives the skin elasticity, rejuvenates and fights toxic substances in the body.

Let’s try to cook beets according to one of the Asian recipes.

Ingredients for Korean-style beets:

  • beets – kg;
  • red hot pepper – tsp;
  • vegetable oil – 150 ml;
  • coriander – 2 tsp;
  • 9% vinegar – 70 ml;
  • garlic – 6 cloves;
  • sugar – 3 tbsp;
  • salt – 1.5 tsp.

Preparation of beets in Korean:

We peel the beets from the peel, shred them on a Korean or large cloves of a regular grater. Pour into a large pot of water and bring to a boil

, then transfer the beets to a smaller pot. Add to the beets pressed garlic cloves, vinegar, sugar and salt.

Thoroughly mix the beets in the pot and set over boiling water, creating a water bath. Cook beets

in

this way for half an hour.

10 minutes before the end of cooking beets, in a saucepan you need to heat vegetable oil. After cooking the beets, add red hot pepper and coriander to it, pour the red-hot oil.
