The symbolism of the sun is often glimpsed in many works of various peoples. Historians
have
always faced the question – how exactly those or other tribes depicted the daylight?
Each state had a different symbol of the sun. However, the dish that characterized the sun, surprisingly, did not differ. In ancient Egypt, pancakes were first started to be made. Of course, the pastries were not particularly round and thin. But still, the Egyptians believed that such a flatbread is the true meaning of the sun in food.
After a certain amount of time, pancakes began to be discovered in the culture of other peoples. It is difficult to give an exact answer whether pancakes were borrowed from Egypt. It is likely that each state came up with a gastronomic sign of the sun in isolation.
