Almost everyone in our country knows what a belyash is. It is an incredibly popular pie originating from Tatarstan. How did this meat pastry manage to win the love of the people?
It all began with the conquest of Kazan by Ivan the Terrible. Then the detachments of the tsar noticed that the local population eats quite interesting pastries. Of course, this recipe for meat products did not pass by the nobility. Soon the Tatars began to prepare belyashi for the royal table.
Then the belyashi were forgotten for a while. The popularity of the pie came to naught, but not for long. In the XIX century, belyashi began to cook again in large quantities. Later this trend was taken over by the Soviet Union.

We will tell an elementary recipe for lazy patties with meat.
Ingredients for lazy belyashi:
- minced meat – 250 g;
- bread – 9 slices;
- eggs – 2 pcs;
- onion – pcs;
- salt – a pinch;
- coriander – ½ tsp;
- dried garlic – ½ tsp.
Preparation of lazy belyashi:
In a bowl with minced meat you need to chop a peeled onion on a fine grater. Break a couple of eggs into the mass of onions and meat, pour salt, dried garlic and coriander, mix.
Cut out the crumbs from the bread, leaving the frame intact

Put it on the bottom of a heated pan with vegetable oil. In the middle of the frame pour the mixture of minced meat, cover the stuffing with bread crumbs.
On medium heat, fry the stuffing until golden. Then turn the sandwich crumb side down. Cover the skillet with a lid and cook the belyashi for an additional 5 minutes.
You can also crumble the crumb into the mincemeat to make it tastier. This is the fastest way to make something that tastes like belyashi.
