Have you heard of Armenian bread? Of course, because it is an ordinary lavash. It is represented by a thin flatbread made of wheat flour. In terms of taste, lavash is an unleavened white bread.
There is a myth in Armenia that tells about the origin of lavash. One day, King Aram was taken captive. He had to go 10 days without bread, and on the 11th day there would be archery. To avoid being hungry, Aram came up with the idea of hiding pita bread in his breastplate. Each day a new one was brought to him. This way the king endured for 10 days and defeated the Austrian king. After that, the country began to eat thin bread.
