Bread is the most common flour product all over the world. Nowadays we cannot imagine our lives without a fragrant fresh loaf. Remember at least how in our childhood we used to come home from the store with a big and warm loaf. As a rule, half of the bread was eaten on the way.
But how did the loaf appear in our kitchen? Initially, there was only white and rye bread as a traditional type of baked goods. Baton appeared on the tables in our state thanks to the French. It was in France that an elongated loaf with some kind of stuffing was invented
. Before the revolution, our loaf was also filled with a variety of viands. However, after the revolution, it was decided to cook just bread as an economy.
Now we can make many different dishes from the loaf. For example, a simple snack for tea.
Ingredients for lazy cakes:
- loaf – ½ pc;
- vegetable oil – 50 ml;
- jam – 200 g;
- salt – a pinch;
- chicken eggs – 2 pcs;
- milk – 70 ml.
Preparation of lazy pies:
Baton cut into 6 slices, on 3 slices spread the jam. Cover the layer of jam with the remaining slices of baton.
In a separate bowl break eggs, add salt, milk and mix thoroughly. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, envelope each pie in the egg mass.
After the bread has been in the egg mixture, it is necessary to fry it on moderate heat until golden crust.
Also, this recipe can be made with mincemeat instead of povidla. Then you will get more hearty patties.
