Lazy stuffed cabbage is a dish that combines simplicity of preparation and rich flavor. Unlike classic stuffed cabbage, where cabbage leaves are used to wrap a filling of meat and rice, in lazy stuffed cabbage all the ingredients are simply mixed and stewed together.

Despite its simplicity, lazy stuffed cabbage remains a delicious and hearty dish that can be a great choice both for an everyday lunch or dinner and for a festive table.
Ingredients:
- Stuffing – 2 kg;
- Cabbage – 1 pc;
- Carrots – 2 pcs;
- Onion – 2 pcs;
- Butter – 180 g;
- Vegetable oil – 1,5 tbsp;
- Round grain rice – 500 g;
- Dill – 30 g.
Ingredients for the sauce:
- Tomato paste – 150 g;
- Tomato sauce – 400 g;
- Sour cream – 300 g;
- Water – 300 ml.
Preparation of lazy stuffed cabbage:
Rinse and boil rice until half-cooked. Chop finely onion, in a frying pan on a mixture of vegetable and butter oil (20-30 g) fry until soft.
Grate carrots on a coarse grater, put them to the onion and fry the vegetables until golden. At this time, chop cabbage finely
. Put the chopped cabbage to the onions and carrots, stew for no more than 7 minutes. Then mix the cabbage mass with rice and leave the mixture to cool down.
Salt and pepper the cabbage and rice mass, mix thoroughly after cooling down. Do not forget to pour salt, pepper, add paprika, seasoning for meat.
Also in the stuffing you can rub cold butter (150 g) and mix, so the meat will be juicier. After the rice and cabbage cool down, you can add minced meat to this mass and mix.
Chop dill, pour it into the mixture for stuffed cabbage, mix. For the sauce, mix tomato paste with tomato sauce, sour cream, pour all the water. Add pepper and salt to the sauce as desired.
Grease the bottom of the baking molds with vegetable oil. Form round cutlets from the mixture of cabbage, rice and minced meat, place them in the molds for baking.
Pour the stuffed cabbage with sauce, cover the molds with foil, make small holes in the foil.
Bake stuffed cabbage in the oven at 180 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
