A characteristic feature of salads: chopped ingredients mixed with mayonnaise. Layered salads are a separate category, and their ancestor is considered to be “Herring under a fur coat”. In Soviet times, people were limited in resources, for cooking used mainly home-made preparations. The rampant salads began in the post-Soviet era, then there were real culinary masterpieces and conquerors of stomachs. Perhaps this recipe will surprise you, as it is possible to prepare a delicious and hearty salad without the use of mayonnaise.
Ingredients for the salad:
- chicken fillet – 400 g;
- eggs – 4 pcs;
- pickled cucumbers – 250-300 g;
- carrots – 3 pcs;
- sour cream – 3 tablespoons;
- salt – ½ tsp;
- olive oil – 3 tbsp;
- mustard – tbsp;
- dill – a bunch.
Preparation of the salad:
Pre-cook chicken fillet, eggs and carrots.
Marinaded cucumbers cut into cubes, transfer to the salad bowl. Chop the cooked fillet finely, send it to the cucumbers. Dice carrots, combine with the rest of the ingredients.
Boiled eggs are peeled and get rid of the yolk

Finely chop the protein, send it to the salad. The
yolk is transferred to a separate container and crushed with a fork. Add sour cream, salt and mustard. Pour in 3 tablespoons of olive oil.
You can also add dill.
Dress the salad with the mixture and mix.
You get an appetizing juicy salad without using mayonnaise.
