In order not to transfer products unnecessarily, it is worth preparing an unusual appetizer from budget ingredients. To do this, you do not need to use a lot of products. Let’s tell you how to make cheese rolls with sausage.
Ingredients for cheese rolls with sausage:
- Melted cheese – 2 pcs;
- Eggs – 4 pcs;
- Sausage slices – 80 g;
- Sour cream – 1 tbsp;
- Mayonnaise – 1 tbsp;
- Dill – a bunch;
- Salt – ⅓ tsp. salt.
Preparation of cheese rolls with sausage:
Place the cheese in a cellophane bag and remove to the microwave. At maximum power melt the cheese for 30 seconds. Then use a rolling pin or your hands to make a thin rectangular layer of melted cheese.
Put the layer in the refrigerator until it hardens.
At this time, boil hard-boiled eggs, divide the yolk from the white. Grate the yolk and white separately on small grating cutters.
In a bowl mix mayonnaise with sour cream and salt. Add a spoonful of the sauce to the yolks and whites, stir.
Remove the cellophane from the top of the cheese layer.
Spread a spoonful of the yolk mixture on the cheese layer and spread it in an even layer. Put the sausage on the yolks, cover this layer with the protein mixture.
Roll the layer into a roll with the stuffing inside, fix it with cellophane and put it in the refrigerator for an hour.
Chop dill, remove the uneven edges of the roll and sprinkle with herbs.
This way you get an interesting, yet inexpensive appetizer. It is well suited both for a festive table and as an everyday appetizer.
